New Orleans

A visit to New Orleans for New Years netted the last album of 2009. These shots are of the French Quarter and the Central Business District. All photos were taken walking on foot. The first few were taken using a Sony kit lens and the rest were taken using the KM “Beer Can” lens. This album more than any other shows the incredible quality of the old KM glass.

India Day 2009

Photos taken during India Day in Portland, Oregon (Pioneer Square). Occuring every August, the 2009 festival was the second that I have photographed. A few photographs were taken by Brianna Barrett.

Friends in the Pearl 2009

In August of 2009, a party was held on rooftop in NW Portland. For the third year, I have taken photographs from the top of a building in the Pearl District. A continuation of the “Friends in the Pearl” album from 2007 and  the “Summer Days” album from 2008. Two of the photographs were taken by Brianna Barrett.

East Coast to West Coast

In May of 2009, I set out on a road trip across the country (College is finally over!). Starting from Boston, MassachusettsI traveled to Portland, Oregon; taking stops in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Colorado, Missrouri and Utah. These photos chronicle that trip. Note: this was the second cross country drive that I did, the first went through a more northernly route. A few of the photos were taken by Thai Le.

Graduation

I finally Graduated…twice in a weekend. I took some of these photos, but my older sister Naomi took most of them. The first pictures are of my Masters degree graduation from Babson College. The second half are pictures of my Bachelors degree graduation from the FW Olin College of Engineering. Sadly, I only gave my sister one lens; but she creatively compensated for that handicap.

Kentucky

In April of 2009, I traveled to Kentucky as part of school project. These pictures kind of document that trip. Most of the pictures were taken at the Kneeland horseracing racetrack, located just outside of Lexington Kentucky.

Ghana

In January of 2009, I traveled to Ghana as part of a group from Babson College. A motley collection of grad students and undergrads, we taught business in local secondary schools. The pictures were taken in Accra, Sekondi, Takoradi, Elmina and travel around those parts.
